Beginning with a Story Consultation, we collaborate with you to explore the themes of your wedding story: Who are you as individuals? What are the important relationships in your life? What brings your two unique stories together? And finally, what are you most proud of? These questions create the framework for multiple sessions filmed months before your wedding day. Part interview, part documentary, these sessions cover a broad scope of your story and include those who are closest to you.

WHAT WOULD THEY SAY?
Wedding photography needs a rebranding, not by creating something entirely new, but by rediscovering its original intent. To us (and we truly believe this includes you), wedding photography is less about a manufactured perfection, but about capturing sincere and truthful moments. But it is so personal, what a “truthful” photograph is. So subjective and elusive in its adamant silence. A picture can say a thousand words, yes, but which words are they?
This exercise is an experiment to see what happens when we give voice to these photographs. Will we learn something new from this insight, this privilege of hearing the photographs talk? Does everyone see the same thing as the people in the photographs themselves? If anything, these works will be a reminder of how a picture can tell a story and the thought that if the pictures themselves can talk...how precious that is.
